The Artist
Kat is a skilled permanent makeup artist based out of Mint Salon & Spa in Circle Pines, MN. Her journey in the beauty industry began in 2010, granting her over a decade of diverse expertise —including roles as a salon manager, hairstylist, trainer & lead makeup artist for high-profile events, film, & photoshoots— Kat has cultivated a unique skillset in enhancing natural beauty. After completing a rigorous year-long apprenticeship at a tattoo studio in the Twin Cities area, she remains committed to advancing her skills through ongoing education, specialized courses, & certifications, ensuring she continues to empower clients with the latest techniques and innovations.
Behind The Scenes
Outside of work, Kat enjoys spending time with her beloved cats, Archimedes and Valko, or attending live music events with her partner, Daniel. A true creative at heart, she often experiments with special effects makeup, DIY home improvement & engages in crafting projects. Kat is also passionate about learning the Finnish language, savoring chai tea lattes, and exploring the outdoors through casual hiking. Known for her outgoing and witty personality, she thrives on creativity and adventure both in and out of the studio.
